Man, I haven't blogged it up in some time. Guess it's been a lot of catch up after my two week IPath trip... Got to plan our BLK MRKT show that's going down on Oct 26th and also we got the Outer Mission Art Walk/ Drink Link coming up this Friday evening! If you're in SF, I'll see you Friday, and if you live down there in LA, I'll be seeing you on the 26th @Kinsey's BLK MRKT. Shit's good times, mang.
In other news, the Detroit Tigers whose coach is from Toledo where I'm from have beat the As in game one of the ALCS... I've always liked baseball, but only really watch the post season. It's good times, although, I have too much work to do right now, and there are at least 7 more games minimum that I'll have to watch until this season is done, sooooo...
Here are a few photos from the last couple days in Portland.
Kenny took my camera and got some crazy action of me on the mini at the DEPT OF SKATEBOARDING.
The place is pretty sweet.
our room where Barker and I crashed for the week... Our rooms were such a mess and since the cops were called on someone else's room, we got denied from ever being allowed back. Jeeesh.
Fred Gall is good times.
Rodriguez gets some exercise in... Funny that everyone thought that this was easy and tried it after him. Shit's hard.
Me so Uyeda
John Barker with a kickflip... Man, this is totally photograffiti worthy.
Bobby's Yankees got whipped.
Went and checked out Nate Jones band that played up there in Portland.
Sabback and Portland local.
Ran into Rachel who used to live right by Low.
I don't cook much but I made my special lady some Ohio styled eatings... PEAS!!!
Dolores Park is always good times for the drinking, people watching, and nothing doing.
Don't try and shoot a Sparks. It just doesn't work.
Everyone kicked down some $$$ for Ron to try it though.
Hey, it's a happy Groshong!
Down the ol' hatch!
It's all good now with your $20 dollars until...
Feelin' alright there, Ron?
and then when the above takes place more is drank and then you're out and about...
and more of these are poured
your teeth fall out
and glasses are worn
and people are picked up... dancing
If you want to spend a nice afternoon doing the bike thing... take the ferry to Sausalito and then bike on the bike path that goes north for awhile. A really nice ride...
That's SF over there... whenever here I always imagine what it would be like if the bay turned to a field of grass... Imagine walking back from Sausalito across a huge field of grass.
They have all these great estuaries where birds hunt for fish.
It's perdy and nice with a special one.
The GG bridge at night is smile times.
Some evening I hung out with Breezy and Andrew as they were preparing for Mary Scott's opening.
Went to the Uptown for some more beers and shots.
Went to a the lady friend's sister's wedding. Very nice. Late night hotel room booze times.
I like planes, so when Fleet Week comes to town, I go and get all excited as the jets buzz around over head... They make burettos huge as hell. They're larger than Heide's stomach.
Those damn jets... Guess they almost didn't allow them this year because they were flying too close to the buildings downtown last year.
Went and checked out Meric Long last night at the Rite Spot. So good! See him 'cause he's on tour like right now... It's good to see him live because unlike most people and bands, he's better live.
Meric and Kate wacky
and now serious
So where, if at all, is there a good bar in SF that plays the baseball games with the sound on and isn't in North Beach or the Marina? Anyone know of a good spot to watch the game with other baseball peoples?... Go Tigers!
